Hi I was at DTM this morning and had disgusting service the car was dirty stinky and had worn tyres and rusted Ibrake lines and broken key all for R150000 also did not like the way I was spoken too by the what looked like man in charge I pre arranged to view a specific car and also explained what I needed to asked when I arranged for the meetup I was not even offered a seat and they took ten minutes to find the paperwork for the car felt like I wasn't welcome there maybe it's cos I asked for a discount. The guy even lied to me saying the car was one owner on examination of the papers I found out it's a two owner car. I am just disgusted at DTM Helderberg

Very disappointing - Wasted a lot of my time and didn't fix what I asked them to. I took my bakkie in, partly because it was due for its annual service, but more because the engine was making an unpleasant noise (despite having done less than 37000 km). The friendly staff assured me that their mechanics would check everything and sort out the noise for me. I then sat in their waiting room for an entire hour before they could give me a lift home (having been told it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait). When collecting the vehicle and paying over R2800 for the service, they announced that there was no noise and that the engine was fine. Fortunately the manager was there, so I could let him listen to the noise. He too was friendly and helpful and heard the noise straight away. Within a few minutes he was able to miss-diagnose the problem as being the fan belt and one of the related bearings. He assured me the vehicle was safe to drive and suggested I bring it back the next week, so they could have another go. The quote for this (when they finally sent it to the correct email address) was over R4000, not to mention the disruption of bringing the vehicle in again and sitting around in waiting rooms. Fortunately I decided to take it to my own mechanic instead, who quickly discovered that the issue was actually related to the timing belt and tensioner! Which he replaced for less than half of Nissan's R4000 quote. If I had taken it back to Nissan, it would have cost me another R4000 to not fix the problem and I would have still been running the risk of destroying the engine if the timing belt snapped...

Workshop if forever having problems with their phone

Fantastic. Workshop Manager is borderline godly. Sales Manager is a short and tubby chap but very nice and helpful. Finance lady is a bundle of kind wisdom. Hopefully they can pay for my trade in by EFT instead of some archaic thing called cheque. If so, then they're the complete package. Oh, my new car is lovely too.
