When making the decision on who to let repair my transmission, I listened to my local mechanic who recommended I consider Aamco. I also contacted three other local shops with good reputations on Google. After visiting Aamco in person, and meeting Richard, the local owner, in person, I felt I found my shop. By the time the work was finished, I knew I found my new transmission shop. I will confidently refer family and friends to Lincoln’s Aamco transmission shop. This place is the best. I came in and dropped off my van for some transmission issues. They were able to get it back up and running. Super professional and made everything easy.

The dealership said I needed a new transmission , which took them 9 months to figure out. They also pressured me to make to make an appointment or face dire consequences. I took my car to AAMCO for a second opinion. I did new a new transmission, but they said I had time to decide what I wanted to do. I appreciated their honest opinion that the transmission was just beginning to have problems and failure was not immediate, as I was lead to believe by the dealership.

Our truck broke down on I-80 eastbound. We had it towed here as it need transmission work. They explained everything to us, and repaired our truck timely. Were from Iowa so we left it in another state where we were unfamiliar with any of the repair shops. Extremely pleased with the service and the driving tips they provided.
